Project Overview
The project centred around the launch of a new construction site radio, with the aim of creating a strong visual identity for the product and presenting it in a way that felt authentic to its intended environment. Rather than relying solely on standard product imagery, the campaign was developed around the idea of placing the radio within a realistic construction setting.
I led the visual development of the project, taking the product from its original CAD data through to finished 3D renders and campaign assets. Alongside the product visualisation, I developed the environments, art direction and motion content, creating a cohesive set of visuals that could be adapted across ecommerce, digital marketing and promotional material.

The Challenge
The campaign required a series of photorealistic images showing the radio within authentic outdoor construction environments. Building these locations entirely in 3D would have been time-consuming and unnecessary when the primary focus of the imagery was the product itself. The challenge was finding a way to create convincing environments while maintaining control over the composition and presentation.
The Solution
I developed a compositing workflow that combined AI-generated backplates with 3D product visualisation. Using ChatGPT, I created environmental scenes based around the desired location, perspective and visual style, before integrating the 3D radio into each shot. I then matched the camera perspective, lighting, scale and shadows to create a cohesive and photorealistic final image.

Design Direction
The visual direction was built around creating a realistic, rugged and commercially focused presentation for the radio. Every element of the imagery was considered to make the product feel naturally at home within its environment, while keeping it visually clear and recognisable.
Final Visuals
The final set of product visuals was created for the Amazon launch, combining clean product presentation with the environmental imagery developed throughout the project. These eight images formed the visual foundation for the wider campaign and were adapted across the product’s digital marketing and promotional content.
Motion Graphics
To complement the product imagery, I created a series of motion assets to communicate the radio’s features and functionality. The main video brings together product visuals, feature demonstrations and an AI-generated voiceover to create a concise overview of the product.
Alongside the main video, I produced supporting how-to content covering key functions, including setting alarms and saving presets. Together, these videos extended the campaign beyond static imagery and provided customers with a clear way to understand the product before purchase.
